Keith Harrington (St. Petersburg, Fla./Northeast) is an exciting 2014 prospect. Harrington, 5-foot-8 and 165-pounds, mainly plays running back in the Vikings spread offensive attack. He can also play in the slot.
“Keith can flat out run,” said Mike Jalazo, Northeast’s coach. “And he’s more quick than fast. You should see him play point guard for our basketball team.”
According to Jalazo, Harrington has picked up scholarship offers from Arizona and Indiana.
Teams jumped on him by just what he did against [Clearwater] Countryside last season,” Jalazo said. “He had to long scoring runs against those guys.”
In Friday night’s loss to Tampa Catholic Harrington had a huge game. He had several long runs and a long catch and run in the passing game, showcasing his outstanding speed and quickness.
