IU Football on BTN Tonight

Shane Wynn (USA Today)

The Big Ten Network crew was in Bloomington to watch IU practice last week. Tonight at 8 p.m. ET the Indiana Football Preview will be shown on the network.

The Big Ten Network's Football Preview Tour will show its stop at Indiana tonight at 8 p.m. ET on the network.

The BTN team of Dave Revsine, Gerry DiNardo and Howard Griffith are touring the conference for the seventh year in a row. While at Indiana last week, they talked to Kevin Wilson along with several assistants and players. For example, they conducted an interview with all three of IU's primary quarterbacks: Nate Sudfeld, Cameron Coffman and Tre Roberson in a roundtable set up.

The BTN will also have its Big Ten Football Preview Shows coming up later this month. The Leaders Division Preview is scheduled for Wednesday night Aug. 28 at both 7 and 9 p.m. That will be the night before Indiana opens the season at Memorial Stadium against Indiana State. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and the game will be televised on BTN.

"First of all there's no reason to think Indiana won't be better offensively because they have everyone back and they've had another year to play together and get to know each other,'' Revsine said after watching IU's practice last week. "I think offensively this team will be able to hang with anybody.

"With Indiana, obviously the question is always on the defensive side. It's still too early to tell but I think there's signs that things are going to turn around there, too.''
