In today's Hoosier Links there's a story on the IU quarterback situation from Bowling Green's perspective, something on IU kicker Mitch Ewald, and a story from the Indiana Daily Student about women's soccer goalie Shannon Flower.

Every day, we’ll take a quick look around the Indiana beat with a couple of stories that could be of interest to IU fans.

Here are the stories for Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013

1. Here is a story from the Bowling Green side looking at IU’s quarterback situation. The Bowling Green coach is quoted as saying he hopes IU plays two quarterbacks on Saturday because that would likely mean the Falcons were having some success against the Hoosiers. Here is the story from Jack Carle of the Sentinel-Tribune. Indiana has questions at QB

2. Sean Morrison of the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette writes today about IU kicker Mitch Ewald, who needs just seven points to become IU’s all-time leading scorer among kickers. Hoosiers kicker is leader on and off the field

3. There’s an interesting story in the Indiana Daily Student today about women’s soccer senior goalie Shannon Flower. She had two shutouts in her career before this season. This year she has five in the first six games. Here’s the story from Sam Beishuizen of the IDS. Flower steps up in goal in final season
