Ralphael Green was one of the few bright spots in Indiana's blowout loss to Ohio State on Saturday. On Monday he was recognized by the Big Ten for his efforts.
Green was named co-Big Ten Freshman of the week, per a conference release. He had four tackles, two tackles for loss and a strip-sack against the Buckeyes.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana redshirt freshman defensive tackle Ralphael Green collected Big Ten co-Freshman of the Week honors, the conference announced Monday. Green shared the award with Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg. He is the first Hoosier to earn the accolade since quarterback Nate Sudfeld on Sept. 17, 2012.
Green recorded his first career sack and forced fumble, and he added career-highs with two tackles and four solo stops at Ohio State. On the season, the San Antonio native has appeared in all 11 games (eight starts) and owns 24 tackles, one sack, 4.5 TFLs, one forced fumble and two blocked field goals.
