Guy, Indiana Elite win adidas Super 64

2016 guard Kyle Guy

Indiana target Kyle Guy helped Indiana Elite win the adidas Super 64 title in Las Vegas.

Indiana Elite finished a perfect 8-0 in Las Vegas last week, capping it with a win over Vegas-based Dream Vision in the championship game of the adidas Super 64 in a nationally-televised game on Sunday afternoon.

Kyle Guy, a 2016 Indiana target from Lawrence Central, had 16 points in the championship game. Guy, who was playing up with the 17U squad, was outstanding throughout the tournament.

Guy shot 48 percent from the field and a tournament-best 51.6 percent (16-of-31) from beyond the arc.

Indiana coach Tom Crean made Guy a priority in the third and final July evaluation period, watching him in all three pool play games in Vegas.

Indiana Elite was fun to watch. They didn't have any five-star talent -- Guy is their only four-star recruit -- but they routinely beat teams with more talented players. Dream Vision, featuring five-stars Justin Simon and Chase Jeter, got two shots at Indiana Elite, and lost both times.

Guy was a big part of it throughout the week, and he earned several new offers on Sunday. The 6-foot-2 guard added offers from Virginia, N.C. State, Iowa State and Northwestern because of his play in the tournament.
