Indiana released its full non-conference schedule for the 2014-15 season on Friday afternoon. Here's a quick look:

Friday, November 14: Vs. Mississippi Valley State at Assembly Hall
Monday, November 17: Vs. Texas Southern at Assembly Hall
Thursday, November 20: Vs. SMU at Assembly Hall
Saturday, November 22: Vs. Lamar at Assembly Hall
Monday, November 24: Vs. Eastern Washington at Assembly Hall
Friday, November 28: Vs. UNC Greensboro at Assembly Hall
Tuesday, December 2: Vs. Pittsburgh at Assembly Hall, 7 p.m.
Saturday, December 6: Vs. Savannah State at Assembly Hall
Tuesday, December 9: Vs. Louisville at Madison Square Garden, 9 p.m.
Saturday, December 13: Vs. Grand Canyon at Assembly Hall
Saturday, December 20: Vs. Butler at Bankers Life Fieldhouse
Monday, December 22: Vs. University of New Orleans at Assembly Hall
Saturday, December 27: Vs. Georgetown at Madison Square Garden, 12 p.m.
Things that jump out right away: Mike Davis' return to Assembly Hall on come on November 17 when he and Texas Southern come to town. That should be an interesting one.
The game time for the Georgetown game was announced as a noon tip. That's an early one, which could be tough given the Hoosiers have to travel to New York for the game.
There's only one exhibition game on the schedule, which I like. There have been years the Hoosiers have opted for two games, but I think one is plenty.
The other obvious thing that jumps out is the season opener. IU's first game will be played on Nov. 14 against Mississippi Valley State.
