Report: Holman Denied Reinstatement

The San Francisco Chronicle is reporting that IU signee Eli Holman has been denied reinstatement by the California Interscholastic Federation, the governing body for California high school athletics.

The 6-10 center from Richmond (Cal.) High School was suspended for the remainder of his prep career last December after pushing a referee after he received a technical foul in a game. Holman’s family appealed the decision, and indications were that the North Coast Section committee would recommend his reinstatement as long as he completed anger management counseling.

The CIF didn’t provide any details to why they denied his reinstatement, and told the newspaper the Holmans have exhausted their appellate options with them.
