The 5'10", 165-pound cornerback from Cleveland's Glenville H.S. has a scholarship offer from IU and made an official visit to Bloomington in early December, but said he hasn't heard from the IU staff for about two weeks.

"I'm still considering (Indiana), but I haven't talked to them lately," Lowe said. "It hasn't really knocked them down, I'm just curious what the reason is."

Lowe was one of 13 players to make an official visit the IU program the weekend of Dec. 7. He took an official visit to Iowa the following weekend, and has a trip to North Carolina State set for Jan. 18. He said he might be making an official to Ohio State this weekend (Jan. 11), and he also hopes to use his fifth visit as well to a yet-to-be determined school.

"I think I'll be waiting until the end of the month to decide," Lowe said.

It's unclear whether the holiday season is why IU hasn't been in contact with Lowe as of late, of if it's because the Hoosiers are rapidly running out of room in the 2008 class. With 19 commitments to date, IU is already right up against the scholarship limit of 85 and would probably have to over-sign to add more to the incoming class.

But if they are going to do that, cornerback is spot they'd likely consider doing it since they are losing senior starters Tracy Porter and Leslie Majors, and they've yet to secure a verbal from a cornerback in this year's class.
