The Hoosiers’ 6-9, 230-pound senior recorded back-to-back double-doubles to lead IU to a pair of wins last week. White had 18 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks in the Hoosiers’ 83-79 win over Georgia Tech and then following that up with a 10-point, 12-rebound, three-block effort Indiana’s 64-51 win over Southern Illinois on Saturday.
This marks the second time White has won the Big Ten’s weekly honor, with the first coming Jan. 22, 2007.
White and the Hoosiers host Tennessee State tonight at 7 p.m. at Assembly Hall.
